This is the whole deal, written the way we’d want to read it: we collect almost nothing, we use it only to reply to you, and we never sell it. The longer version follows.
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you choose to share it, your website address if you ask for a report card, and anything you write in the message box. That’s it. No accounts, no profiles.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or rent your information. Ever. We don’t add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to. We don’t run advertising or analytics cookies on this site as of the date above. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.
How we use what you send
To do the thing you asked for: reply to your project inquiry, prepare your free website report card, or answer your question. If you don’t reply to us, you may get one friendly follow-up — then we leave you alone. If you gave us your phone number, we’ll only use it to reach you about your own project, never for promotions.
Who handles it along the way
A few boring, standard services help this site run, and your form data passes through them the way mail passes through a post office: Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox, Cloudflare hosts and serves the site, and our email provider stores our correspondence. Some photos on the site load from Unsplash’s servers, which — like any image loading anywhere on the internet — see standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We don’t control third-party services, and each has its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Emails and form submissions are kept as ordinary business records. Want yours gone? Email us and we’ll delete what we hold about you, unless a law or an active contract requires us to keep it.
Your choices
Email hello@thedigitalwelcome.com to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of which state or country you live in.
Kids
This site is for business owners and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS everywhere and we take reasonable measures to protect what you send us. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we won’t pretend otherwise.
Changes
If we change how this site handles your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
